FootingTakeoff started with one contractor's month-end ritual: a stack of residential footing plans, a calculator, and an evening of measuring 30–40 wall segments per plan to bill by the linear foot.

We are building the tool that does that job — and we are doing it the slow, honest way: calibrating the AI against real plans from a working footing contractor in Ontario, Canada, and checking its totals against the contractor's own hand-measured invoices before we ask anyone to trust it with theirs.

The product philosophy is simple: a takeoff you can verify beats a number you have to trust. Every measurement is drawn on the plan. Every uncertain segment is flagged instead of guessed. Accuracy is the entire product.
